Access to the RSB Science Policy Newsletter is changing for some subscribers

The RSB’s Science Policy Newsletter reaches thousands of subscribers every week, with readers telling us that they value it highly as an informative digest of relevant stories.

RSB members, committees, Member Organisations and Special Interest Group members will continue to enjoy free access as a benefit of their association with the RSB. However, from 29 September 2023, individuals outside these groups will be asked to pay a small annual fee of £20 if they wish to continue receiving the newsletter on a weekly basis. This will contribute to supporting our charitable work.

To subscribe and receive weekly copies for the next year, please log into your mySociety account. Via “Me and the RSB”, “Subscriptions”, then scroll through the options and select "Science Policy Newsletter". Alternatively, for information about membership (which includes this subscription, a subscription to The Biologist magazine and a new range of cost-saving and other benefits), please visit our membership webpages.

Testimonials from readers:

"The RSB's Science Policy Newsletter is invaluable as it provides a clear and efficient snapshot of the latest developments on a weekly basis – it is high on my "must read” list."

"The RSB Science Policy Newsletter [is] remarkably thorough and well-curated – including research updates, expert opinion, community news and initiatives as well as links to other important information sources. It is so useful to have all this information in one place and I take my hat off to those involved in putting [it] together".
