Society of Biology visit to Hong Kong
- Details
- 27 February 2014
The British Council has invited the Society of Biology to take part in its Science Alive event in Hong Kong. This year’s theme is ‘The Code of Life’, and the events in March are designed to inspire children and adults.
For the last 21 years, Science Alive has invited leading UK academics and communicators to engage Hong Kong’s students, teachers and the public in activities that promote a wider understanding of science.
Three members of the Membership, Marketing and Communications team will deliver workshops and activities about genetics. These will give students an insight into inheritance, DNA structure and DNA fingerprinting.
The visit will also be a chance for members and Fellows based in Hong Kong to meet Society of Biology staff and network with each other.
