Plant science is a multidisciplinary area of biology including for example ecology, taxonomy, genetics, biochemistry, systems biology, horticulture and plant pathology. Plant science is key to providing secure nutrition globally, in the face of population increase pressures and unprecedented climate change effects.

RSB Plant Science Group

The Plant Science Group is a special advisory committee of the Royal Society of Biology. It brings together the plant science community to develop a coordinated approach to policy and practice in research, industry, funding, education and outreach, wherever possible.
