Biochemistry special issue: Roger Y Tsien and 50 years of European biochemistry
In partnership with the Biochemical Society, The Biologist has produced a special biochemistry supplement for members to enjoy with the October issue.
The special mini-issue features an interview with the Nobel Prize-winning biochemist Roger Y Tsien Roger Y Tsien, whose development of green fluorescent protein (GFP) revolutionised how biologists visualise living systems.
There are also features on modifying the metabolism of plants; designing proteins for new healthcare applications; and biochemists' give their views on the most important breakthroughs in the last 50 years of European biochemistry.
